It is also utilized in commercial, industrial and residential roofing, interior and exterior painting, metal buildings, pipes, boilers, boat bottoms, flotation devices and sound rooms.
ELASTOMERIC
The Submitted sample was prepared as a free film over a urethane substrate and tested in accordance with ASTM - D2370. Results show an elongation at break of 300. Cerama-Tech is water-based acrylic which emits low odor and complies with strictest Federal and local regulations. Cerama-Tech is perfect for renovating occupied building space.
ABUSE RESISTANT
Cerama-Tech cures to a super hard finish that will remain impervious to outside elements and atmospheric conditions.
MODERATE COST
Although
Cerama-Tech looks expensive, it is very competitive in price with normal coatings. Since it is easy to clean and does not require repainting for many years, maintenance costs are also less.
FADE RESISTANT
Factory testing along with outside application tests have shown that the color retention factor remains constant, and no fading has occurred on the product tested in the Weatherometer for over 5000 hours, or the equivalent of over thirteen years. Added results show -- Durability, Grain Crack Resistance and Film Integrity -- EXCELLENT--.
WARRANTY
Cerama-Tech coating features a 15 year limited warranty against chipping, flaking and peeling. See the manufacturers full written warranty for more specific information.
MILDEW RESISTANT
Cerama-Tech does not trap moisture. This feature combined with a long term mildewcide gives the coating a chemical composition that does not contribute to the growth of mildew.
SUPPORT SERVICE
Our specialty-trained support team will assist you with your specific requirements. Services include specification assistance, technical information, custom applications, etc.

Cerama-Tech has been able to show energy savings of over 50% on heating and cooling costs.
FIRE RETARDANT
Cerama-Tech substantially exceeds Standard Building Code requirements for Type 1 and Class A materials. Cerama-Tech has had both ASTM - D3806 and ASTM - E 84 flame spread testing performed by 2 separate approved testing laboratories with a resulting flamespread of 10 or less, and smoke contribution of less than 5.0.
