As impossible as it sounds, Cerama-Tech International, a San Diego based Corporation, has developed a ceramic paint that Insulates, is a Certified Fire Retardant (Class A Type 1), Suppresses Sound, Encapsulates Lead and Asbestos and looks and applies like ordinary paint.

A major University study conducted by the Mechanical Engineering Department at U.N.L.V., showed that Cerama-Tech can save over 52% on heating and cooling, costs which equates to immense energy savings.

By utilizing ceramic platelets into its copolymer, elastomeric paint formula, these microscopic platelets (eliminate spheres) have the ability to form an overlapping ceramic shield during the drying process. This ceramic shield has the ability to dissipate hear at a very rapid rate and to reflect the heat back into the atmosphere rather than allow it to be conducted to the underlying surface. Cerama-Tech is classified as a Radiant Control Coating (RCC), similar to a radiant barrier, but much easier to apply or install. It can be applied to virtually any surface and it can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun. This "paint it on principle", makes Cerama-Tech the easiest and most cost effective method of applying insulation in almost every insulation application.

Cerama-Tech is also rated as a long lasting paint coating which allows longer periods between re-painting inside, outside and high traffic areas. This product will outperform almost every other paint or coating available on the market today and do it at a very moderate cost.
